Health-related changes
What we do
Whether it’s coping with illness or injury, menopause or chronic pain, changes to an individual’s health can have a profound effect on their mental wellbeing.
Transitioning Well’s suite of services to support health-related changes provide employers and their employees with the tools and resources they need to navigate this often complex transition well.
Menopause Transition Coaching
Our Menopause Transition Coaching Program is an evidence-based program, designed and facilitated by workplace psychologists. We tailor five hours of individual coaching around the unique needs of the individual, wherever they are in their journey, be it peri-menopause, in menopause or post menopause.
Menopause Workshops and Webinars
Why Menopause is Everyone’s Business
Our 90-minute presentation featuring our specialist menopause subject matter expert partner, is designed to help everyone understand why menopause is a workplace issue, and to open up the conversation so people going through this transition don’t feel they have to suffer in silence or press pause on their careers.
Menopause Training (for Managers and HR)
Our three-hour training program, delivered alongside our specialist menopause subject matter expert partner, equips workplace managers and supervisors with the knowledge, confidence and tools to support employees going through the menopausal transition.

Cancer Support (for Employees)
Working while navigating a health crisis can be challenging. Our specialised cancer support for employees equips employees with the emotional and practical strategies they need to support them during this significant time in their lives.
Team Dynamics Training (PsyCap)
Empower your leaders to best support their people through transitions associated with managing health-related changes.
Together, your leaders can unpack the challenges that present in this challenging time of transition, and build positive thinking patterns that can challenge and replace deep-seated assumptions and beliefs, and ultimately build team cohesion to ensure sustainable practices across this often difficult life-work transition.
Career Transition Series
Many of us will experience career transitions in our lifetime - whether it is having a baby or a career change, managing a personal crisis, or retiring from the workforce altogether. As an employer or manager, it can be hard to know how best to support someone during these times of career transition.
The Career Transition Series provides workplaces with research-led and practical approaches. It shares the stories of organisations supporting their people through eight key transitions, highlights what has worked and relays lessons for others.
Common physical and mental health symptoms in health-related transitions present workers with extra challenges in doing their job well. Poor work environments, where people have limited support or experience discrimination and a lack of job security, can negatively impact their return-to-work experiences.
The Health Related Changes transition guide provides valuable guidance for employers supporting people through this transition, with a dedicated focus on three specific health-related transitions: cancer, menopause and gender transitions.
Developed in partnership with National Mental Health Commission, the series was produced through the National Workplace Initiative after research and consultation highlighted the need for guidance on supporting career transitions.
