Tailored for women and designed around the 10-A Parental Leave Framework TM, the following two modules (delivered as either a 1.5 hour workshop or 1 hour webinar) provide a timely and realistic orientation to the Parental Leave Transition.
This transition provides a unique opportunity to help employees navigate what is arguably the most complex life and career transition facing working parents and their work organisations today.
1. Navigate to MUM
‘Navigate to MUM’ provides an opportunity to step out of the day-to-day and get a focused jump start on assessing the factors that will support and detract from a successful Maternity Leave Transition.
Learning Outcomes:
Available Nationwide and delivered by a Transitioning Well psychologist, this workshop/webinar will:
- Understand the significance of the transition and the challenges and opportunities it presents at work and at home.
- Identify the transition touch points from ‘worker to parent’ including the importance of preparing a clear and comprehensive Leave Plan.
- Explore the 6’S System for Parental Leave Success.
- Identify a range of resource pathways to best support the transition.
2. MUM Back to Work
Building upon the foundation of Navigate to MUM, MUM Back to Work equips women with the tools and resources to re-enter the workforce with confidence and clarity.
Learning Outcomes:
Available Nationwide and delivered by a Transitioning Well psychologist, this workshop/webinar will:
- Explore the realities of the transition, providing an opportunity to discuss not only the initial return, but also the longer term adjustment required as part of a sustainable return.
- Identify the transition touch points from ‘parent to working parent’ including the importance of ensuring that arrangements for return are clear and communicated.
- Revisit the 6’S System for Parental Leave Success.
- Identify a range of resource pathways to best support the transition.
